Session History
Every conversation is automatically saved so you can pick up where you left off. Sessions store the full conversation context, model, mode, and system prompt.
Resuming a session
Section titled “Resuming a session”- Open the commands menu with
/orCtrl+P - Select Resume session
- Browse previous sessions — each shows its title, date, and working directory
- Use the filter input to search by name
- Toggle “Only show sessions for this directory” to narrow results to the current project
After resuming, you’ll see a confirmation: “Loaded session from <date> into context” and the conversation picks up with the full history restored.
What gets restored
Section titled “What gets restored”- Full conversation history
- Active model and mode
- System prompt and session title
- The broader working context needed to continue the conversation naturally
