Cosine is building Lumen Sovereign, Britain's first fully sovereign frontier AI for critical sectors.
Backed by the UK Government's £500 million Sovereign AI programme, Lumen Sovereign will be trained entirely on UK soil using Isambard-AI, one of Europe's most powerful supercomputers. When complete, targeted for the end of 2026, Lumen Sovereign will be deployable in air-gapped and high-security environments across the UK, Europe and beyond.
As part of the design phase, we are inviting individuals and organisations to contribute through the questionnaire below. This request for input is open from 1 July to 1 August 2026.
Our objective is to understand the real-world tasks and workflows that Lumen Sovereign should be able to perform effectively, both as an autonomous agent and through conversational chatbot interactions.
